The first weekend of May 2023 saw the culmination of another NC HS Club Beach season featuring close to 50 high school clubs scattered across North Carolina. State Playoffs were held at Southern Sand VB in Apex, NC. Congratulations to the top finishers:

The first weekend of May 2022 saw another edition of the NC HS Beach State Playoffs. Contested at Southern Sand VB, the weather resulted in a cancellation of Friday evening activities but folks improvised and all of the season titles were awarded as part of Saturday’s competitions.

After a shortened 2020 season with no State Playoffs held due to the pandemic, the NC HS Beach Volleyball Association is looking forward to a return to a more normal season schedule this upcoming Spring. The 2021 NC High School Beach State Playoffs will be held over May 7-8, 2021. Competitions will be held at Southern Sand Volleyball located at 6175 Old Jenks Rd, Apex, NC. Southern Sand Volleyball offers a variety of junior and adult programs at a 10 court facility. The anticipated schedule of play (subject to change) will be:

The 2018-2019 season will have registration open up in the Fall 2018 with the competition season in the Spring.
The site for the 2018 State Playoffs held on the weekend of May 19-20 has been selected. The playoffs will be hosted at Capt’n Bills located at 4240 Market St in Wilmington, NC. Capt’n Bills is a longtime hub for beach volleyball in and around Wilmington, featuring a restaurant and 10 sand volleyball courts. Wilmington Volleyball will serve as tournament director for the playoffs.

The 2016 season saw 53 schools participate with almost 700 participants – the largest participation thus far in the history of the NCHSSVA! THe season also saw the creation of a 6th conference to serve the growing interest in the Wilmington area.
